No school!

We got 18 inches of snow. Yup, that's right, be jealous. There was no school today and there isn't going to be tomorrow, crossing my fingers for Wednesday! It's extremely lucky, especially because I have a Math IB Portfolio and a Government test that I have no idea about the topic... :D Wednesday off would make it the best Christmas vacation ever.

SO so stressed....

So, I am super stressed, especially about (1) english multitasking (essay, 40 minute presentation, and raisin in the sun read and test) and (2) my grade in math.

Here are my grades:

Ugh, well I got a C on the Barbie project and an E on the matrix portfolio

FML. Major FML.

Oh yeah, hopefully it'll ice storm tonight, because then they'll be a 2-hour delay/no school tomorrow, which would be SO beastly, you can't even imagine! Well, one, I have two tests tomorrow, and two, my 40 minute lecture is friday so it would be pushed back to monday!

Is it really the 3rd?

1. Today, it was proved that I (or everyone) is smarter than M. Giblin. So in the workbook, it said that "one was telling Marcelle what was new". Then comes the question "Samantha and I are going to be having dinner." He said that you have to use the subject "us", but: "one was telling Marcelle what was new." So, "I" wasn't Marcelle, it was one. So it would be "you all". (I am translating everything from french to english ;) )
2. We're reading "A Tempest" by Aime Cesaire. It's cool.
3. I had writer's block today. So instead, I made a chart and assigned letters different notes. And I used the text "Hello, my name is Joe. I have a house, 3 kids, and 1 spouse.... etc.
4. Today, Lara answered a question like in Jeopardy. Hahahahahaaa...
5. cain fell asleep again in class, Ariel continues to stare at Errin, and the clouds were BEAUTIFUL outside. We were doing something with calculators, but I didn't have my calculator, so...
6. Badminton. I'm actually getting pretty good :)
7. Quiz tomorrow, on reproduction (*snicker*). Mostly asexual reproduction. I'm gonna have to really study, not.

That my "exiting" day. Yesterday was really good, but after ups, there's always a down. And that was today.

Doing the rounds...

1. Did beastly on my french vocab test today (Quizlet vocab list) and I finished before everyone else, it was a breeze. Then on the board I got all my sentences right... good day, good day...
2. I got to school at 6:50 to sign up for the english topic list, and I was 3rd in line. F. But my group got out 2nd choice, magic and jesters in the tempest. Also, my group has doubled in size, 2 to 4, which is a load off my back. OMG I GOT MY FIRSA WRITING ASSIGNMENT!!! 45/50 on Antigone MPE! 
3. I'm losing my touch on dictations, I used to be really good, and now, I just suck.
4. 5/5 on my mini quiz today. We split into groups, I was number 4, which is group 4. It had Jeffrey, Ashlyn, Alan, Arvind, and some other girl.
5. Lucky me, Goetz didn't check the hw (of course I did it...). 
6. Badminton, which I suck at.
7. David got yelled at for calling Mr. Hobbs and this other black kid, "brothas from tha hood". I felt really bad for David, and I wanted to give him a great big hug, though he does try too hard sometimes. Zack, David, and Alex's mitosis rap was played today, and it was hilarious. By the end, David was shaking because he had been so nervous, another reason why I wanted to give him a great big hug! Neha was being an idiot again (as usual). I hung out after class with Mr. Hobbs, Jonathan (the black senior kid), Deborah, Alex, and Ankit (lol). We complained about Neha, chatted... The usual. We're coo'.

Thinking of today makes me laugh...

So, lets do the rounds...

1. IB French 4 - Remembered my book this time, Giblin was a creeper, because the quote of the day was something along the lines of (I'm translating into english) : Drinking when we are not thirsty and making love when were not trying to reproduce, that's what distinguishes us from other animals. He talked about it, I can't remember what exactly about, but something about "getting action"... Eew, too old, too old.
2. Pre-IB English 9 - SAT words of the day: quandary and corporeal. Quandary was supposed to sound like coin-tree: The apple tree had a coin-slot in it. A woman walked up, confused. She was in a quandary. Corporeal sounds like corporal: His obsession with being fit was from when he was in the Army corporal. Also, we are doing 47 minute lectures Monday through the following Monday, and I don't have a group. The signup is tomorrow. Crapidy crap crap. So, I'm gonna be in a group of 2? With Spencer? That's just great. Talking about Prospero for 20 minutes.
3. AP Music Theory - Today I showed Mr. Frezzo my festival piece from Walden (music camp) and he liked it, which made me happy :)
4. Pre-IB/AP Government - I drew Mr. Evans in sharpie in my notebook and it's a really good drawing (Kiana took a picture of it). I also drew profiles of Matt and Kiana (don't ask my why Matt- he was the only one facing Evans, so I actually saw his profile). They were good too. I'll have to upload them here.
5. IB Algebra 2 - FOr the 2nd time in history, I was called up to the board (I didn't volunteer, she has cards) I got it right!!! Thanks to Sped. But, to top it off, I got my test back. I want to leave it at that but I'll tell you what I got. A freaking 37 out of 50. That's a 74%. FML.
6. Tennis/Badminton - Mrs. Wayerski almost counted me as absent. Even though I didn't exactly go see her for attendance, she should have seen me walk through the door. I'm hard to miss in a BRIGHT PINK TANK. Also, while we were sitting in the corner, we got/almost got hit by balls like 10 times. And Preston got up on the top of the bleachers and dropped a ball on us. BEST PART OF THE DAY *FUNNY FUNNY!* So, smarticles Sam was wearing his pants pulled all the way up, and Thai got behind him and pantsed him. The only problem? His boxers came down too. And behind him? 4 girls. That all have classes with him. And I was one of those 4 girls. Ugh, can't get that picture out of my mind. Oh yeah, this girl that like stalks me came up to me today. Random girl. Screamed "SARAH SNIDER!". I was like "yes?" She was like "you're cool." Dead serious too, not sarcastic. I was like *wth?* okay... Weirdo. 
7. Pre-IB Biology - Took notes on asexual reproduction. Neha acted like an idiot again today, and Mr. Hobbs was like "you're trying to be funny, but you're not" *burn*. I saw the single cells dance by Lara, David, and Andrew. It was dumb. Stayed after with Deborah, like always (I love that girl) and we negotiated our grades with Hobbs. I had to wait for my group members to leave (who were obviously staying to see what I was there for) and yeah. They are getting a 12/15, I'm getting a 14/15. Yeah trick. :D

So yup yup, that was my day. Tomorrow I gotta race to school at 6:50 to get that spot on the english list for (1) Prospero (2)Magic & Jesters or (3) Greek Mythology. Cool beans. Thanks for reading!
